xx Sonic All-Star Screw Up
July 02, 2008, 01:01:15 AM by shade
It's nothing major, I just forgot to add the Greatest Improvement category on the nominations page. It is now up, sorry about that, of course it was always up on the Categories page but not the nominations. I added the sites to the category and if any websites wanted to enter into that award but did not see it listed on the nominations page PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.

All sites who registered for that category, the links are up for it. Other than that, keep the nominations coming, we're getting out there little by little.

xx New Sonic Unleashed Information
July 01, 2008, 02:57:29 PM by shade
I recently learned that Sonic Teams upcoming Sonic game, Sonic Unleashed(aka the game every single Sonic fan hopes will bring our blue hero back to his original glory). First thing I learned was that Sonic Unleashed will feature levels set in China and in New York. So far what I know about the China level is that you will be able to run on the Great Wall(oh how we've all wanted to do that as Sonic), and New York will probably be similar to the Europe level or Sonic Adventure's Speed Highway At Dawn level. The New York level will hav eyou going from building to building and whatnot, there are endless possibilities. Not to mention you'll be able to explore in the HUB levels so you're basically walking Sonic through the streets of New York. You will have to talk to different people for mini missions and to get from place to place.

Despite SEGA in a recent article in the Nintendo Power Magazine stating that Sonic is the only playable character, you will be able to do miniature missions as Tails. I am not sure what those missions are exactly, but me a long with other fans have been speculating that it could involve transporting Sonic to new locations via the Tornado.

There is a snow level and instead of snowboards you will get to ride in a bobsled. That is all for now, oh here's a funny, SEGA goofed and accidently showed a small piece of Werewolf Sonic meeting Amy Rose for the first time, the employess jumped in front of the screen to stop the interviewer from seeing it. Oh SEGA, always goofing as usual.

So far we have been informed of a Europe level, China level, New York level, Africa level, and an Ice level, not to mention some other levels. I'm not sure if that will be all of the levels, but I do know these levels will be based on real life places and since this is the real world Sonic Team has many different levels to choose from.

Before I go, one other thing I need to mention is that Sonic will be able to perform tricks(maybe, do not quote me on this) by repeatedly pressing a certain button, my guess is that it will be like Sonic Rush. More information on this title will be revealed during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) during July 14-17.

xx Just Got A Nintendo DS
June 28, 2008, 11:14:40 PM by shade
Sorry for this bloggish post, but I just wanted to inform you all that I now own a Nintendo DS, and will be buying several games I may have missed out on(right now I have Pokemon Pearl). Once I save up some more money I'll purchase some other things such as Sonic Rush Adventure or some CD's, I literally almost wiped out my Bank Account today(underestimated the cost of Pearl), and it was weird. But oh well.

Anyways, I am working on my sprite comic Sonic Reloaded. And yeah um all visitors who own sits be sure to nominate your site for the Sonic All-Star Awards.

xx Sonic All-Star Award Nominations Have Begun
June 27, 2008, 01:49:57 AM by shade
After a months delay the Sonic All-Star Award's are here. I was going to launch it earlier but I decided to wait until the Shadow All-Star Awards ended. We have several different awards for sites, and hopefully we will have a big turn out(hopefully). Just click on Sonic All-Star Awards in the navigation bar and look at the categories decide which ones you feel you want to be nominated for then click the nominations link and type in your information (Alt Email not required but would be nice), click submit and I should receive it instantly. I wish the best of luck to all who enter, I have nothing to do with who wins it's up to the fans out there.

You can check the main news page or the SASA news page for updates on how things are going for the awards.

xx And We're Back
June 26, 2008, 01:51:01 AM by shade
That didn't take long, I still need to edit some pages for Internet Explorer users(white background in frames), bt other than that everything is back online, with a few new pages.

The Sonic All Star Awards are now online, and I have posted some news on the page(it will be updated to fit the awards look later). Nominations will begin soon, but you can check out the categories. I'll have a submission form up this Friday or Saturday at the latest.

Mp3 Jukebox returns after months of inactivity, I have brought it back, just click the link and a popup window will appear and you can adjust the volume settings and pick songs from it.

The site is now 200 pixels wider than the other layouts I have made.

I got rid of the ad rotation, now we have affiliate rotation, they'll be random so everyone gets a fair shot at getting a visitor. And if that' not enough I have fixed the Affiliate page, it now tells you how to become affiliated with this site, and has buttons, a long with our list of affiliates.

The login box has been edited to fit the new layout, all pages should be fully functional but send me an email if anything strange happens.

Well that's it, be on the look out for some more updates on the SASA and some new content for the site coming this weekend.
